Level 1 – Water Introduction

For swimmers with little to no water experience.

Ask yourself:

• Does my child need me (or another adult) in the water to feel comfortable?
• Do they avoid putting their face in the water or struggle with getting their face wet?

Level 2 – Water Exploration

For swimmers who are becoming comfortable in the water.

Ask yourself:

• Is my child comfortable in the water with an instructor (without a parent)?
• Can they put their face in the water and blow bubbles?

👉 If yes, this is likely the right level.

Level 3 – Water Independence

For swimmers gaining independence and basic movement skills.

Ask yourself:

• Can my child float on their front or back with little help?
• Can they move short distances by kicking or paddling on their own?

👉 If yes, choose this level.

Level 4 – Stroke Readiness

For swimmers ready to build stronger skills and begin basic stroke work.

Ask yourself:

• Can my child move independently through the water for several body lengths?
• Are they ready to start learning basic freestyle and backstroke movements?
