🌊 Safety Around Water Program (SAW) at the Geary Family YMCA

Help your child gain confidence and stay safe around water!
Our Safety Around Water (SAW) program is a FREE water safety initiative that teaches children the essential skills they need in and around aquatic environments. This program is perfect for children who are new to swimming or who want to feel safer near water. Tuesday June 2nd, participants will take part in a classroom setting with information and activities to start and strengthen SAW abilities. Wednesday we will take those skills to the water!
🧒 What Kids Will Learn:
How to recognize water dangers
How to float and reach safety
What to do in case of an emergency — even if they don’t know how to swim
